Axonopus suffultiformis (also called Suffultiform Carpetgrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass species native to tropical regions of the Americas. It typically grows in low-lying, moist areas such as swamps, marshes, and wet meadows. It has a creeping, mat-forming habit and produces narrow, light green leaves and small, pale green flowers.
Uses & Benefits
Axonopus suffultiformis is used as an ornamental plant, for erosion control, and as a source of fiber and fuel.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings

Cultivation and Propagation
Axonopus suffultiformis is a tropical grass that is easy to cultivate and propagate. It can be grown from seeds or cuttings. Seeds should be planted in a well-draining soil mix and kept moist until germination. Cuttings should be taken from the lower part of the stem and planted in a moist soil mix. Both methods should be kept in a warm, humid environment for best results.
