Description
Axonopus elegantulus (also called Elegant Carpetgrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to South America. It has a prostrate habit and grows up to 30 cm in length. Its leaves are alternate, and its flowers are yellow and white, with a calyx of 5 sepals. It is found in moist soils, and is often found in disturbed areas.
