Description
Aristida riograndensis (also called Rio Grande Three-awn, among many other common names) is a species of grass native to the south-central United States. It is a perennial grass that grows in clumps and can reach heights of up to 2 feet. It is found in dry, sandy soils in open woodlands, prairies, and roadsides.
