Description
Aristida hitchcockiana (also called Hitchcock's Threeawn, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to the Mediterranean region. It has a tufted habit and grows to a height of 0.6 m. It grows in dry and sandy soils in open grasslands, roadsides, and wastelands.
