Andropogon hypogynus (also called Hypogynous bluestem, among many other common names) is an evergreen perennial grass native to India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. It typically grows up to 1.5 m tall, with a clumping habit and long, narrow leaves. It prefers full sun and is found in dry, open grasslands and savannas.
