Description
Ampelocalamus stoloniformis (also called Chinese bamboo, among many other common names) is a species of bamboo found in China, Japan, and Korea. It is a clump-forming, evergreen perennial with long, thin, arching stems and narrow, lance-shaped leaves. It is found in forests, mountain slopes, and along streams.
Uses & Benefits
Ampelocalamus stoloniformis is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a medicinal plant for treating various ailments such as fever, cold, and cough.
