Aira scoparia (also called Broom Hairgrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to Europe, Asia, and North Africa. It is found in meadows, pastures, and other grasslands, as well as in disturbed areas. It has a creeping habit and grows to a height of up to 40 cm.
