Description

Achnatherum nakaii (also called Nakai's needlegrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to the mountains of Central Asia. It has a tufted growth habit and can reach up to 1.5 m in height. Its leaves are long and narrow with a white midrib. It prefers dry, sunny habitats and is commonly found in alpine meadows and steppes.
