Description
Achnatherum jacquemontii (also called Jacquemont's Rice Grass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to India, Nepal, and Pakistan. It grows in dry grasslands, open forests, and meadows, and is often found in disturbed areas. It has thin, erect stems and narrow leaves that are up to 10 cm long. Its inflorescence is a narrow panicle, with spikelets that are up to 4 cm long.
