Description

Acantholimon tricolor (also called 'Three-Colored Plume-Thistle', among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Turkey and the Caucasus. It has a woody rootstock and grows to a height of 30-50 cm. Its leaves are greyish-green and covered in a dense tomentum. Its flowers are white, pink or purple and are borne in a capitulum.
