Description

Plantago pachyneura (also called Thick-Leaf Plantain, among many other common names) is a perennial herb native to the western United States and northern Mexico. It is found in dry, sandy soils in open areas such as roadsides, fields, and disturbed areas. It has a basal rosette of large, thick, oval-shaped leaves and a single flower stalk with small white flowers.
