Plagiothecium nitidifolium (also called Orthothecium nitidifolium, among many other common names) is a small moss species native to the Northern Hemisphere. It grows in dense tufts, with a yellow-green to dark green coloration. It is found in moist, shady habitats, such as forests, woodlands, and grasslands.
