Piper caudatifolium (also called 'Tailed-leaved Pepper', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Piperaceae. It is a shrub or small tree, with stems that can reach up to 6 meters in length. It is native to the tropical regions of Central and South America, and is found in humid forests and along the edges of rivers.
