Pinus serotina (also called Pond Pine, among many other common names) is a coniferous evergreen tree native to North America. It grows up to 15 meters in height and has a trunk diameter of up to 0.5 meters. It prefers dry, well-drained soils and grows in a variety of habitats, from sea level to high elevations.
