Description

Pinus rigida (also called Pitch Pine, among many other common names) is a coniferous tree native to North America. It is a medium-sized tree, growing up to 25 m tall with a trunk up to 1 m diameter. It is found in mountain forests, usually at altitudes of 500–1,500 m.
