Description
Pinus coulteri (also called Coulter Pine, among many other common names) is a species of conifer in the Pinaceae family. It is native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico, where it grows in dry, rocky areas with other pines and junipers. It is a small to medium-sized tree, reaching up to 10–20 m tall, with a trunk up to 60 cm diameter.
