Description
Larix lyallii (also called Lyall’s Larch, among many other common names) is an evergreen conifer that is native to the temperate regions of North America and Europe. It has an upright habit and grows to a height of 10-20 meters. It has dark green needles and produces small, yellow-brown cones. It prefers moist, well-drained soils and is often found in open woodlands.
