Description

Abies veitchii (also called Veitch's Fir, among many other common names) is a species of fir native to Japan. It is an evergreen coniferous tree growing to 20–30 m tall, with a trunk up to 1.2 m diameter. It is found in temperate forests in mountainous regions at altitudes of 1,000–2,500 m.
