Description

Abies mariesii (also called Maries' Fir, among many other common names) is a coniferous evergreen tree native to the mountains of eastern Asia. It grows to a height of up to 40 m (130 ft) and has a conical crown with spreading branches and a scaly grey-brown bark. It prefers moist, well-drained soils in full sun and is found in montane coniferous forests.
