Description

Papaver libanoticum (also called Lebanese Poppy, among many other common names) is a species of herbaceous perennial flowering plant in the Papaveraceae family. It is native to western China and is found in rocky meadows at elevations of 1,500-3,000 meters. It has a basal rosette of deeply divided, fern-like leaves and bears solitary, cup-shaped, yellow flowers in late spring.
