Description
Sopubia lasiocarpa (also called Hairy-fruited Sopubia, among many other common names) is an herbaceous perennial plant that grows up to 1.2 m in height. It is native to China and is found in grasslands and hillsides. Its leaves are ovate and its flowers are white or pink.

Sopubia lasiocarpa is used as an ornamental plant and has medicinal properties such as anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects.
