Cultivation and Propagation

Pedicularis olympica is a perennial herbaceous plant that can be propagated by seed or division. It prefers moist, well-drained soils and partial shade. When grown in full sun, the plant may require more frequent watering. It is best to water the plant deeply and then allow the soil to dry out before watering again. Deadheading spent flowers will help to promote new blooms. Pruning may be necessary to keep the plant from becoming too large or unruly.
