Description
Castilleja racemosa (also called Racemose Indian Paintbrush, among many other common names) is an annual herb of the family Orobanchaceae. It has a basal rosette of leaves, and a single stem with a terminal inflorescence. It is native to western North America, growing in dry, open habitats such as sagebrush and chaparral.
