Description

Castilleja integrifolia (also called Entire-leaved Indian Paintbrush, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the Arctic regions of North America and Eurasia. It grows in dry, rocky, and sandy habitats, and has a small, grey-green rosette of leaves at the base. The plant produces bright red, tubular flowers in the spring.
