Description
Telipogon nigropurpureus (also called Black-purple telipogon, among many other common names) is a perennial orchid native to Central America. It has a single stem and grows up to 1 m tall. It prefers moist soils and is commonly found in open grasslands, roadsides, pastures, and disturbed areas.
