Description
Prosthechea carrii (also called 'Carri's Orchid', among many other common names) is a small epiphytic orchid with white and yellow flowers. It is native to Costa Rica and Panama, and grows in humid forests.

Prosthechea carrii has been used in traditional medicine for treating various ailments and is also used to make a natural dye for fabrics.

Cultivation and Propagation
