Description
Phloeophila pelecaniceps (also called 'Hawk-head Phloeophila', among many other common names) is a small herbaceous plant native to the Andes of Peru and Bolivia. It grows in moist, shady areas, usually in the understory of montane forests. It has a rosette of lance-shaped leaves with a single stem bearing a single flower with a hawk-head-shaped corolla.
