Description

Habenaria nasuta (also called 'Nasute Habenaria', among many other common names) is a terrestrial orchid species native to the temperate regions of Europe, Asia, and North America. It grows in moist meadows, open woodlands, and disturbed areas, and is characterized by its white or yellowish-green flowers with a long spur and a hairy ovary.

Cultivation and Propagation

Habenaria nasuta can be propagated by division of the rhizomes or by seed. The rhizomes should be divided in early spring and replanted in a well-drained soil.
