Description

Habenaria macrostele (also called White-Stemmed Rein Orchid, among many other common names) is a terrestrial orchid found in tropical and subtropical regions of Central and South America. It has a single, erect stem that grows up to 40 cm in height, and bears up to 12 white flowers with a yellow-green lip. It is found in grasslands, open woodlands, and along roadsides.
