Description
Habenaria glaucifolia (also called Glaucous rein orchid, among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras. It grows in wet montane forests, usually at elevations of 1,500-2,500 m. It has an erect stem that can reach up to 50 cm in height and has a single, large, white flower.

Habenaria glaucifolia has white flowers with yellow centers and small, black seeds. The seedlings are small and thin, with delicate, light green leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Habenaria glaucifolia is a terrestrial orchid native to Mexico. It is best grown in a pot with a well-drained, slightly acidic potting mix. Provide bright light and water regularly, but allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Propagate by division in spring.
