Description
Habenaria arenata (also called Sand Habenaria, among many other common names) is an orchid native to Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. It is a low-growing plant, reaching up to 40 cm in height, with a sprawling habit. Its leaves are opposite, lanceolate, and up to 25 cm long. It prefers moist, well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade.
