Description
Eulophia richardsiae (also called 'Richards' Eulophia', among many other common names) is a terrestrial orchid found in India, Sri Lanka, and the Andaman Islands. It has a single, erect, leafy stem and produces up to 15 white, yellow, or pink flowers. It grows in open grasslands, scrublands, and coastal areas.
Cultivation and Propagation
Eulophia richardsiae can be propagated by division in spring or autumn. Plant the divisions in a well-drained, humus-rich soil in a sunny or partially shaded position. Water regularly during the growing season and keep the soil moist but not soggy.
