Description
Eulophia epidendraea (also called Epidendrum Orchid, among many other common names) is a terrestrial orchid species native to Angola, Cameroon, Congo, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. It grows in grassland, bushland, and wooded grassland habitats.
Cultivation and Propagation
Eulophia epidendraea is a terrestrial orchid native to tropical Africa. It can be propagated by division or by seed. The plants should be grown in a well-draining, humus-rich soil and kept in partial shade. Water regularly during the growing season and provide plenty of air circulation to prevent fungal diseases.
