Description

Eulophia bouliawongo (also called African Giant Orchid, among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species native to tropical Africa. It has a single, thick, leathery leaf and a long, thin, branched inflorescence with many small, white flowers. It grows in moist, shady forests, often in the canopy of trees.

Eulophia bouliawongo is used as an ornamental plant, as it has attractive foliage and fragrant flowers. It is also used as a hedge plant and in topiary.
