Description
Epidendrum rostrigerum (also called Beaked Epidendrum, among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species native to Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. It has an erect stem, up to 30 cm tall, with alternate, lanceolate leaves, up to 8 cm long and 1 cm wide. It blooms in the spring and summer, with yellow flowers, up to 1 cm wide.

Epidendrum rostrigerum flower has a yellowish-green color with a white lip and a long, thin column. Its seeds are small, round and black. The seedlings have a single stem with long, thin leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Epidendrum rostrigerum is a terrestrial orchid native to Central and South America. It is easy to cultivate and propagate. It prefers a warm, humid environment with bright, indirect light. The plant should be watered regularly, but not too often. It should be fertilized every two weeks during the growing season. Propagation is done by division of the rhizomes.
