Cultivation and Propagation
Epidendrum puteum is a species of orchid native to Central and South America. It can be grown in USDA hardiness zones 10-12. Propagation is usually done through division of the parent plant. The divisions should be taken in the spring or summer and should be planted in a well-draining potting mix. The divisions should be kept moist and in bright, indirect sunlight. Once the divisions have established themselves, they can be transplanted into larger pots or into the ground.
