Description
Epidendrum pirrense (also called Pirren's Epidendrum, among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, and Venezuela. It grows in wet forests and is a small, epiphytic plant with long, thin, branching stems and small, yellow flowers.

Epidendrum pirrense has small, white flowers with yellowish-green sepals and petals. The seed is small and round, with a dark brown color. The seedlings are small and have a thin stem with a few leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Epidendrum pirrense is an epiphytic orchid species that is native to Costa Rica and Panama. It is found in moist, shady forests from sea level to elevations of 1,500 meters. It can be propagated by division or by seed. It prefers bright, indirect light and should be grown in a well-draining, chunky potting mix. Water regularly and keep the soil lightly moist, but not soggy. Feed with a balanced fertilizer during the growing season.
