Description
Epidendrum lockhartioides (also called Lockhart's Epidendrum, among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species with a sympodial growth habit. It has a short, creeping rhizome with thin roots and oblong-lanceolate leaves. It is native to Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama, and is found in humid montane forests at elevations of 800–2000 m.
