Description
Epidendrum leucolistron (also called Leucolistron Epidendrum, among many other common names) is a species of orchid found in Colombia and Ecuador. It grows in wet montane forests at elevations of 1000–2500 meters. It has an erect stem, up to 95 cm tall, with two to three leaves. The flowers are yellowish-green with brown stripes, up to 17 cm wide.

Epidendrum leucolistron has been used in traditional medicine to treat fever, headaches, and stomach ailments. It is also used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a houseplant.

Epidendrum leucolistron has white flowers with yellow centers. The flowers have a sweet scent. The seeds are small and black. The seedlings have a single stem with small, pointed leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Epidendrum leucolistron can be cultivated and propagated by division of the rhizome or by seed. When propagating by division, the rhizome should be divided into sections with at least two growth points and planted in a well-draining medium. When propagating by seed, the seeds should be sown on the surface of a well-draining medium and kept moist until germination. Once the seedlings are established, they should be repotted into individual containers.
