Description

Epidendrum folsomii (also called 'Folsom's Epidendrum', among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species found in the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. It has a single, thin, upright stem that grows up to 30 cm tall, with several leaves that are lanceolate and up to 10 cm long. The inflorescence is a terminal raceme, with several flowers that are yellowish-green with purple spots. The sepals and petals are lanceolate and up to 2 cm long.
