Description

Encyclia ivoniae (also called Ivoniae Encyclia, among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species native to Central America and the Caribbean. It has a short, cylindrical stem with a few leaves and a single inflorescence with many fragrant flowers. The flowers are yellow with a yellow lip and a purple-brown center. It grows in humid forests and on trees at elevations of up to 1000 m.
