Description

Cynorkis decaryana (also called 'Decary's Orchid', among many other common names) is a terrestrial orchid species found in Madagascar. It has an erect stem with two leaves and a single flower. It is found in humid forests, grasslands and scrublands at elevations of up to 1,500 m.

Cynorkis decaryana is used in traditional medicine for treating skin diseases, as an antispasmodic, and as a diuretic. It is also used as an ornamental plant in gardens.
