Description
Cranichis cochleata (also called Cochleate Cranichis, among many other common names) is a small herbaceous plant native to Central and South America. It has a short stem and a rosette of lanceolate leaves. The flowers are white and borne in a spike. It is found in tropical and subtropical forests, as well as in wet and dry forests.
