Description
Chloraea chica (also called Chica Chloraea, among many other common names) is a perennial herb native to South America. It grows in moist soils, such as those found in wetlands, and can reach heights of up to 1 meter.

Chloraea chica has small, yellow-green flowers that are arranged in panicles. The seeds are small and dark brown in colour. The seedlings have narrow, linear leaves with a white midrib.
Cultivation and Propagation
Chloraea chica can be propagated by seed or division. Seeds should be sown in a well-drained soil in a sunny position and kept moist. Division should be done in early spring or autumn. Plants should be spaced at least 1m apart.
