Description
Calanthe oreadum (also called 'Oread Calanthe', among many other common names) is a terrestrial orchid native to Japan, Taiwan, and the Ryukyu Islands. It has a single, erect, lanceolate leaf and a single, erect, terminal inflorescence with up to 20 flowers. It grows in moist, shady forests, grasslands, and open woodlands.
