Description
Nestegis sandwicensis (also called Sandwich Nestegis, among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub with white, fragrant flowers and glossy, dark green leaves. It is native to Madagascar and is found in moist forests and thickets.
Uses & Benefits
Nestegis sandwicensis is an evergreen tree native to New Zealand. It is often used as an ornamental plant in gardens and parks. It is also used as a windbreak and for shelterbelts. The wood is used for making furniture and the leaves are used for making tea.
