It has glossy, dark green leaves and fragrant, pink flowers that bloom in the summer. It is found in woodland areas and on hillsides.

Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Jasminum multipetalum has white, star-shaped flowers with five petals and yellow anthers. The seeds are small and black, and the seedlings have long, slender stems and oval-shaped leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Jasminum multipetalum can be propagated by cuttings or layering. To propagate by cuttings, take a cutting from a mature stem and remove the lower leaves. Place the cutting in a pot filled with moist soil and keep it in a warm, bright location. To propagate by layering, bend a stem to the ground and cover it with soil. Roots will form at the point where the stem touches the soil. Once roots have formed, cut the stem and replant it in a pot filled with soil.
