Description
Chionanthus macrobotrys (also called Large-Flowered Fringe Tree, among many other common names) is a deciduous tree native to Mexico and Central America. It has a rounded crown and a spreading habit, with large, ovate leaves that are dark green in summer and yellow in autumn. It produces fragrant white flowers in spring, followed by dark blue fruits. It prefers moist, well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade.
