Description
Chionanthus cordulatus (also called Rope-leaved Fringetree, among many other common names) is a deciduous shrub or small tree with a rounded crown. It is native to China and is found in forests, thickets, and along streams. It has ovate to lanceolate leaves that are green in summer and yellow in fall. It produces white, fragrant flowers in spring.
