Description
Heisteria laxiflora (also called Loose-flowered Heisteria, among many other common names) is an evergreen tree that grows up to 15 m tall. It is native to tropical Africa, specifically Angola, Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa. It is commonly found in dry forests, woodlands, and savannas.

The flower of Heisteria laxiflora is white, with five petals and yellow anthers. The seed is a small, black, ovoid drupe. The seedlings are initially pale green, turning dark green as they mature.
